Sustainable Design Tutorials

We work with the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) to develop focused interactive tutorials on sustainable design practices for their LEED v4 Digital Reference Guide. Users access them on-demand to gain insight on more complex credits and elements of the rating systems. Tutorials include architectural illustrations, animated visuals, video, audio, and practice activities.

Topic areas include:

  • Whole Building Life-Cycle Assessment
  • Water Reduction Strategies
  • Neighborhood Development
  • Building Compartmentalization

“Cantilever Instruction + Design has been an invaluable asset in developing short, interactive, and educational online modules. We relied on their expertise to help simplify complex topics into digestible instructional segments that solidify abstract concepts for the learner. Betsy is the missing link between technical experts! In a collaborative group setting she is able to corral disparate technical thoughts and stakeholders into a cohesive learning experience through a blend of adept instructional design, best practices in online education, and graphic design. I’d recommend working with Cantilever Instruction + Design to any organization or individual seeking to effectively communicate technical topics to a broad audience in an interactive and engaging online environment.”
